FOOD SPORT'S $150,000 MOMENT!
Every year, thousands of culinary champions try their luck and skill at Food Sport qualifiers to earn their way into the World Food Championships, where they get a chance to claim the title of World Champion in one of ten iconic food categories. By doing so, they win major money and timeless bragging rights. But more importantly, they get an invitation to the WFC Final Table, where a grand prize awaits the victor of a three-step culinary gauntlet.
Known as the capital of retail and home to Walmart and Sam’s Club, Bentonville, Arkansas, is also respected as a town where modern progress meets rich history, where the arts meet innovation, and where companies meet communities. Its growing and thriving culinary scene makes this “new American town” the perfect host city for this year’s World Food Championships Final Table. As we celebrate our 11th Anniversary of Food Sport, we proudly join the citizens of Bentonville as they celebrate 150+ years of history.
Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food
Brightwater was conceived to be more than a typical culinary school. As an academic department of NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), Brightwater offers uniquely holistic programming with academic and career training in the areas of culinary nutrition, artisanal food, beverage management and food entrepreneurship. Brightwater is housed in a state-of-the-art facility located in 8th Street Market in Bentonville, Arkansas.
For ten World Food Championship Category Winners, it will be the final battleground on the last leg of their journey to become World Food Champion.

This year’s Final Table consists of repeat champions, international chefs and Food Sport experts. Not only did these eleven finalists win their category at the World Food Championships in November, they had to win a qualifying event to even get the chance to compete.
The Final Table is an invitation-only event and is not open to the general public due to food safety and space restrictions. For families or friends of the competing chefs, please send your request for access to this event. Approved visitors will be granted special access passes, along with more details on when each competitor is cooking. The following schedule is the general order of three challenges and is subject to change.

The Final Table is the most high-stakes competition in Food Sport! The World Food Champ-ionships’ ten Category Champions will battle it out to see who will be crowned the victor. A limited number of tickets are available to watch the live action unfold; however, social distancing measures may be in place.
